Kent Smith
Master of Photography, Master of EI, Photographic Craftsmen, C.P.P.
Kent’s photography career began in 1976 as a weekend wedding photographer in Cleveland, Ohio. His first wedding assignment ended up being a photographic disaster. Still, images from his 2nd, 3rd, and 4th weddings were award-winning Loan Collection photographs with PPA, and one was selected to be on the cover of the Professional Photographer of America magazine. He didn’t let a rocky beginning waiver his passion for this profession.
Kent’s artistic eye and business savvy made way for an exceptional career. Kent is an internationally recognized photographer, speaker, and teacher. Kent’s work has won numerous awards.
Kent and his wife, Sarah, have run a thriving photography studio in Ohio for 25 years. In 2015 their amazing colleagues purchased Kent Smith Photography and now carry on the legacy of photographic excellence to this day.
For nearly a decade, Kent and Sarah have photographed professionally from a residence in Los Cabos, Mexico, where they also volunteer for Feeding Los Cabos Kids.
As a charter member of the Society of XXV, his heart for this fellowship and photography is unceasing.
